Paper Submission Instructions for Authors

To submit your full paper, slides, or poster for inclusion in the NECEC proceedings, please follow the steps below.

If you believe you are eligible for any of the awards listed on our awards page and did not already identify your eligibility during the submission of your abstract, please e-mail andrewhouse at to ensure you are considered.

Please submit your paper by October 20th.

Please note: Authors who are giving a poster presentation may still choose to submit a full paper or alternately a copy of their poster, but neither is required.

Presenters from industry doing an oral presentation may likewise choose to submit a full paper or a copy of their presentation slides, but neither is required.

Submission Process

  1. Return to the NECEC 2017 conference management system at using the email and password you set up for your abstract submission.
  2. After logging in, you should be on the "Author Console" page. (If you were also a reviewer, make sure you select "Author" role from the drop-down menu in the upper-right.)
  3. Click the "Create Camera Ready Submission" link in the "Action" column (right hand side) of your Author Console for the paper you wish to submit.
  4. This should take you to a page showing your paper's title and abstract, along with author information. Make sure this is all still correct, and then upload your file(s) in the upload box at he bottom of the page. You can either drag and drop files into that area of the web broser, or click the "Upload from Computer" button to open a file dialog to select the file.
