Submission Instructions

The link at the bottom of this page will take you to the submission system. Please read the following before proceeding to submission.

To submit an abstract for consideration via the system linked below:

  1. We are using Microsoft's Conference Management Toolkit (CMT). If you have used this before for a different conference, you may be able to use the same account. Otherwise, register a new account by clicking the link highlighted below.
  2. Fill out the requied information.
    • Make sure you fill out the verification code and check off your acceptance of the terms, then click "Register".
    • This should take you to the author console page. If it does not, try logging out (menu in upper right) and logging back in with your new account credentials at the https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/NECEC2017 link again.
  3. From the Author Console page, click the "Create new submission" button.
  4. Enter your title and abstract. Add any additional authors as appropriate.
    • Select the best-fitting subject area.
    • If you have the paper ready, you can upload it now, but IT IS NOT REQUIRED. You must, however, anwer the additional questions so we know the type of proposal you are making and can identify your eligibility for any awards.
    • Once you have answered all the question, you can click the "Submit" button.
  5. On the conflicts page (below), just click "Skip Conflicts Selection".

  6. You will be shown a summary page, from which you can return to the Author Console. You can log back in to view and edit your submission.
